Community ServicesCommunity Services Centre is responsible for delivering Council's Community Services as well as providing Community support in areas such as Tourism, Economic Development, Events, Youth, Arts, Culture, Indigenous, Aged and Disability. We aim to provide support and improve communications between all Shire community groups and Council.

EngineeringThe Engineering Services Department is responsible for maintenance and improvement works providing the management and administrative for the functional areas of Councils Engineering Services comprising of; rural roads, town streets, stormwater drainage, culverts asset management, water/sewerage, plant, depot, parks, sporting and recreational facilities, technical support, saleyards and noxious weeds. |
Executive ServicesThe Executive Services Department is responsible for incoming and outgoing mail, sale and acquisition of land, leases, legal matters, Council Meetings, Business Papers, Annual Report, Civic Functions, Naturalisations, Libraries and Family Day Care. Privacy issues and access to Council information are also dealt with along with Local Government Week and Fish Release into the Macquarie River. |

Finance & ITThe Finance and Information Technology Department is responsible for the Financial Practices of Council including preparation of Financial Statements, Budget Reviews, Rating, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Payroll and the Management Plan. In addition, we maintain Council's Information Technology network and are responsible for customer service |
Planning, Building & HealthPlanning, Building and Health oversees the land use planning, development and building control, environmental and public health responsibilities for the Narromine Shire. |
