Council Meetings

Council generally meets on the second Wednesday of the month. Meetings are usually held at the Council Chambers, commencing at 5.30pm. There is no meeting in January. Extraordinary meetings are called when necessary. 

Council must conduct its meeting in accordance with its Code of Meeting Practice.

There is no Ordinary Council Meeting held in January 2026.

The Next Council Meeting will be held on Wednesday 14 February 2026.

Speaking At Public Forum

Public Forum will be held prior to the Council Meeting, commencing at 5pm. Members of the community are able to speak on items in the Business Paper which are up for a decision. Please read pages 7, 8 and 9 of Council's Code of Meeting Practice (see above), and complete the application form below which must be submitted to Council by 12pm on the day prior to the Council Meeting. If no applications are received, Public Forum will not be held.
