The 2025 Narromine Dolly Parton Festival, held on Saturday, 11 October, has been hailed as one of the town’s most successful community events yet — drawing a fantastic crowd and filling the main street with colour, music, and country charm.
Thanks to funding support from the NSW Government’s Open Streets Program, Narromine Shire Council and generous local sponsors including Tomingley Gold Operations, the event once again transformed Narromine into a vibrant hub of entertainment and celebration.
Crowds gathered throughout the day to enjoy live performances, themed entertainment, market stalls, children’s activities, and a spectacular showcase of Dolly-inspired costumes. The evening concert at Cale Oval attracted over 1,300 patrons and featured Donna Campbell, Ballz N All, Country Legend Tributes, and Tanya Andrew, with the much-loved Best Dressed Dolly and Kenny contest kicking off the concert in style.
Narromine Shire Council’s Mayor, Councillor Ewen Jones, said this year’s festival was a shining example of community spirit at its best.
“It was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate,” Mayor Jones said. “The turnout was outstanding, with visitors coming from across the region to enjoy a great day of entertainment, markets and live performances. The atmosphere was full of energy and genuine country spirit — it really showcased what makes Narromine such a special community.”
Mayor Ewen Jones thanked the many sponsors, volunteers, local businesses, community groups and council staff who helped bring this year’s event to life.
“Events like this don’t just happen. My sincere thanks to everyone involved, and to the NSW Government’s Open Streets Program and Tomingley Gold for their ongoing support.”
With growing crowds and glowing feedback, the Narromine Dolly Parton Festival continues to cement its place as one of the region’s most loved and uplifting community celebrations.
