Voting open for the My Community Project

Community members in Narromine Shire are encouraged to get behind NSW Government program, My Community Project and cast their vote for projects in their Electorate.

My Community Project is a NSW Government program that provides funding for community projects, which are decided using a public vote. The program is made possible by the NSW Generations Fund.

To vote in their NSW state electorate, community members must be at least 16 years or over and have a valid Medicare card.

My Community Project uses a preferential voting system. This vote counting system gives points for each of your preferences.There is a total of (36) My Community Projects eligible for voting in the Dubbo Electorate.To cast your votes, the community must visit https://mycommunityproject.service.nsw.gov.au/projects.

“Community members have the chance to be in the running to revamp their community” said Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager, Jane Redden.

“This can be through the addition of a safe and inclusive playground, upgrades to a Memorial Hall, holding a festival or upgrading Club Grounds.”

“I encourage the community to get behind this program and to vote for a project in the Narromine Shire” She continued.

State-wide voting is now open and will be closing on 15 August 2019.Successful projects will be announced in September 2019.
