Instructions for new student members 15-17 Yrs of age

PLEASE NOTE ONLINE MEMBERSHIPS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO USE UNTIL THE 24TH OF MAY 2024. 

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CREATE AN ONLINE MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT UNTIL THEN.

Students between the ages of 15-17 years of age require a parent or guardian to create a ‘Parent/Guest’ account first. 

The guest account is a free membership that can be used to associate a ‘Friends and Family’ plan with, in this case student memberships. 

For legal reasons, a parent or guardian must approve the membership requests of all students who are 15-17 years old before they can use the Sport & Fitness Centre facilities. The parent or guardian is responsible for the actions of the student while using the facility. The parent or guardian must agree to the terms and conditions of use of the facility, the same as an active member.

How to set up a ‘Parent/Guardian’ account for Students aged between 15-17.

Step 1

Visit the client portal and select ‘Join Now’.

Select ‘Student Memberships’ and click ‘Next’.

Select ‘Create a guest account’ and click ‘Next’.

You are required to enter your personal information, the same as a standard user, in case you decide to upgrade your membership at a later date.

Please ensure you complete all required fields for a guest account, including your personal information, contact & emergency contact information, phone, and email address.

The ‘Concessional Card’ details can be left empty on the guest account. These will need to be provided when the student completes their application shortly.

Provide the relevant parent/guardian identification details and set a secure password for the account.

At the end of the form are the terms & conditions acknowledgement, medical information acknowledgement, and marketing preferences. Please read and select as appropriate and click ‘Create Account’.

You should receive a notification to check your email for further information.

From this page, click the button ‘Go to your client portal’.

Now that you have created your parent/guest account, the parent/guardian will need to navigate to the “Friends and Family” tab at the top of the page in the client portal.

The following instructions are related to the student requesting access to the Sport & Fitness centre.

Click the ‘Add family member’ button.

Select ‘Student Memberships’ and ‘Next’.

Select the plan that best suits your needs, e.g. ‘Prepaid – Weekly’, and click ‘Next’.

Select when you would like the contract to start, then click ‘Next’.

The next screen is where the student enters their details.

Please ensure to complete all fields on the form, including personal information, contact & emergency contact information, the pre-exercise screening questions, and details of the student’s identification documents. The student is required to input their own personal email address as this will be used to manage their Sport & Fitness Center membership.

To claim the student discount, you are required to provide details of the type of concession to be used, including the type, the identification number, and the expiry date. (Council staff may contact you to sight and confirm the concessional documents).

At the end of the form are the terms & conditions acknowledgement, medical information acknowledgement, and marketing preferences. Please read and select as appropriate and click ‘Next’.

Step 12

You will then be taken to the summary page. Please check that all supplied details are correct.

If you need to make any changes, please use the ‘Previous’ button to go back and update your selections as required.

Once you are ready to proceed, please ensure you view the membership agreement by clicking the link ‘Read Full Agreement’ link. The agreement contains the Terms and Conditions you are bound by when using the facility.

If you are happy to proceed, select the ‘Yes’ button to agree to the terms and conditions.

This will launch a signature panel for the student to sign. Please sign within the signature panel and select ‘OK’, then ‘Next’.

You will then be taken to our payment page to pay for your membership. Please complete your payment details and submit your payment.

If your payment is successful, you should receive a notification advising you to check your email for further details.

You are now an active member of the Narromine Sport and Fitness Centre. Welcome aboard!
