Council resolved at its meeting on Wednesday 14 August 2019 to postpone the 2019/2020 Pool Season for both Narromine and Trangie Aquatic Centres.
The season will remain open for 25 weeks, with the centres scheduled to be open from Monday 28 October 2019 until Easter 2020.
Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager, Jane Redden said “by shifting the opening times, we will be able to capitalise on the warmer weather through March and April.”
“The 2019/2020 pool season will finish at Easter 2020, allowing for visitors to the Region to be able to use the pool over the Easter long weekend.”
“The proposed opening hours are based on a review of utilisation patterns of Narromine and Trangie swimmers with the opening hours set to be extended over the six week summer school holiday period” she said.
The 2019/2020 Season operating hours are as below and will be published on Council’s website from Monday 28 October.
