Local Leaders Shine in the NSW Young Woman Program

Narromine Shire Council proudly recognises four inspiring young women from the Narromine Region who are participating in the 2025 NSW Young Woman Program as part of this year’s Narromine Show.

Council’s General Manager, Mrs Jane Redden, said the program is a fantastic opportunity for young women to build confidence, leadership skills and strong connections within their rural communities.

“It’s particularly exciting to see two of our own staff members involved as entrants this year,” Mrs Redden said.

Formerly known as the Showgirl Competition, the NSW Young Woman Program celebrates the achievements and aspirations of rural women aged 18–25. It supports participants in developing public speaking, networking and community engagement skills, with opportunities to advance to zone and state levels.

The 2025 Narromine Young Woman will be announced at the Show Ball on Saturday, 19 July.

Narromine Shire Council extends its best wishes to the four entrants and commends them for proudly representing the next generation of women in agriculture and regional leadership.

Good luck Chantelle, Layla, Montana and Talin — Narromine is proud of you!
