Council welcomes all landholders, residents and road users to provide feedback to Council’s DRAFT Roads Management Strategy.
Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager, Mrs Jane Redden said the initial consultation process commenced in 2022 during an incredibly wet winter. Council has extended the process of input into the Strategy during 2023.
“This document is an important part of Council’s Transport and Asset Management Planning, including the Roads Hierarchy and proposed levels of service for Council’s local and regional roads” said Mrs Redden.
Council is asking landholders and road users to complete the survey, all information that will be collected is strictly confidential and will be used to provide Council with a clearer understanding of traffic numbers and productivity use of our road network.
Council will be mailing the survey to all rural landholders alternatively the survey is available via Council’s website at: www.narromine.nsw.gov.au/council/community-consultation. The Draft Strategy is also found here.
The Draft Roads Management Strategy will be on Public Exhibition until 5:00pm Wednesday 10 May 2023.
Mrs Redden emphasised that all landholders are warmly welcome to make an appointment to come and discuss any road concerns with her and Council staff by calling 6889 9999.
