Skypark and Narromine Aviation Industrial Precinct well on its way

Works in Skypark and the Narromine Aviation Industrial Precinct have been underway since January 2020.

Residents in Narromine will have noticed the ongoing civil works at the Aerodrome. Works include the development of 27 residential blocks with taxiway access in Skypark and 22 industrial blocks, a new sewer well, access road and taxiway.

Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager Jane Redden said “both developments are already attracting significant interest and will provide jobs and economic growth for Narromine”

“Council is in the process of finalising land prices which will be available in April 2020” she said.

The aerodrome continues to be an important economic driver for the local economy with recent activity including gliding competitions including National Championships, gliding Schools and Aerobatic Championships along with Community events such as Coffee and Cars and Ausfly.
